The basic function of the FLO is to perform safe loading and unloading operations, working in
compliance with OHSA regulations.
Summary of essential job functions:
-Before operating machinery, complete visual inspection of equipment and attachments
– Perform general operations safely- start, stopping, turning, forward and reverse- with/without load, on even ground and incline.
– Perform safe load handling, loading and unloading
– Understand safety hazards with pedestrians
Required knowledge, skills and abilities
– Must have a valid certification to operate forklift.
– Must have minimum of 3+ years of experience
– Safety equipment required – safety shoes, glasses, vest
– able to work shift work, flexible to work weekends when required
