JOB DESCRIPTION
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
SUPPORTS: Romulus, MI Warehouse
As a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a shift from start to finish. Your role will involve coordinating with supervisors, shipping/receiving and other team members, ensuring quality control, and maintaining production schedules.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The evening shift superintendent position will be responsible for the following:
· Key Decision Maker for the Off-Shift Supporting the entire Operation
· Responsible for all Employees and Processes during the off-shift
· Responsible for managing supervisors and adhering to the required tasks
· Overall responsibility for shipping and receiving departments on Off -Shift
· Employee engagement, communication and training for employees on your shift
· General Supervision 101 Tasks and Behaviors
· Responsible to cover supervisor duties in event of vacation, absence, etc..
· Must be self-starter and be able to work independently with integrity
· Can be flexible in scheduling, adhering to customer demands, working overtime as needed.
Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
· Excellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
· Proficient with Microsoft excel, word and the ability to learn warehouse management system.
· Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising
· Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
· Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues
· Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures.
